Chocolate Covered Berry


  • 1 cup frozen berries
  • 1/2 medium banana (frozen or fresh, frozen is best)
  • Handful of fresh spinach (1-2 cups)
  • 2 Tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa
  • 1-2 Tablespoon of ground flaxseed
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened original almond milk
  • 1-2 tsp of stevia (optional, depending how sweet you want your smoothie…taste then add)
  • Optional: 1 scoop of protein powder (I use Plain Sunwarrior Protein Powder

Directions: Blend all the ingredients in your blender until smooth! If your smoothie is to thick, add more almond milk or water. If you smoothie is liquidy, add ice cubes. The smoothie consistency depends per individual.
