Carrot Cake

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup of carrots (6 baby carrots)
  • 1/2 medium banana (frozen is best)
  • 3/4 cup of non-fat plain greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup of unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • 1-2 Tablespoons of ground flaxseed
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg
  • 1-2 tsp of stevia (optional, depending how sweet you want your smoothie…taste then add)
  • Optional: 1 scoop of protein powder (I use Plain Sunwarrior Protein Powder)

Directions: Blend all the ingredients in your blender until smooth! If your smoothie is to thick, add more almond milk or water. If you smoothie is liquidy, add ice cubes. The smoothie consistency depends per individual.
